In the last article of the issue of growth, it was noted that every child grows and it is an offence not to grow. Who to grow into, namely the Lord Jesus Christ, was also discussed. It was said that He is the pattern Son that God uses to measure our growth.

The primal purpose of all the work of the grace of God in your life, is to make you “to be conformed to the likeness of his Son.” The reason why he “gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;” is “to prepare God’s people for works of service” so that we “may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
