10. Get God’s Approval before you proceed?

This is the final and most important point to note on this list. It’s important to get God’s approval before you say, ‘I do’. God is the author of marriage and it is Him that will help you throughout your marriage. God knows everything, there’s nothing hidden from Him. God knows the person you are considering for marriage more than you do. He knows their past, their present and their future.

It will indeed be foolish to go ahead and say ‘I do’ without getting God’s approval.
