“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.” – Mathew 7:7-8 AMP

The call to Greater Works is a call into partnership with God; it is a call to be alive to our responsibility. It is a call to step into the delivery room with God and bring forth that which God has graciously ordained for our generation. This is the season to release our will, our hands, and our feet to God for His use and for His Glory.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, speaking in Mathew 16:19 said “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven”. He has indeed given us the keys, and it is now our responsibility to determine what is permitted in our world. The keys to doing Greater Works have been handed over to us as well as the assurance that our Master is always with us as we advance against the forces of hell in our generation.
Jesus, our commander who asked us to Go and make disciples of all the nations in Mathew 28:19, also assured us of His presence in the very next verse by saying “…and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually – regardless of circumstances, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”
So just as Jesus did not do anything of His own accord, but only did the things which He saw His Father doing (John 5:19), we have also been called into the same kind of partnership with Christ and we must ensure that only the will of the father is done in our offices, our communities, and our World. God is seeking men and women who will partner with Him for the release of Greater Works in our generation that will bring Glory to His name, are you available? Are you ready?
Finally, we must remember that one of the principal keys of the kingdom of Heaven which we have received is the Key of prayer. Not just prayer, but persistent, heartfelt prayer that will not give up until the door is opened unto us. Please note that we don’t just stop at asking, there is a need to keep on asking. And beyond asking we also seek and keep on seeking. In our seeking we learn to ask aright, we discover the right door through our asking and seeking, we then begin to knock through application of that which we have discovered.
As we take the master at His word and do as He bids us, we shall see Greater Works in and through our Lives this season in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
