The 2025 World Agents of Change Conference held between Thursday 30th January and Saturday 1st February 2025 with the theme: Unto a Perfect Man (Ephesians 4:13). The venue of the conference was Go International Missions Auditorium in Kuje, Abuja, Nigeria. The conference had over 400 participants from 13 States of Nigeria including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Online, a total of 1,049 participants joined the conference livestream on YouTube, making a total of 1,454 participants.
The conference which was packed with life transforming sessions had a total of 78 attendees respond to four different altar calls. Some special features at the conference included Bible study, Worship and Hymns, Messages, Vision Challenge, Prayer Challenge, Marriage and Relationship Seminar, The Night of Change (Vigil) among others.
The Bible studies were held in two sessions for the two full days of the conference. It was a group Bible study where participants had the privilege of interacting and contributing to the richness of the study. The Bible study was held in six groups with each group having a Facilitator whose responsibility was to coordinate the discussion. It was an insightful and impactful moment of studying the Word with other believers.
The Worship and Hymns sessions were led by the Agents of Change Worship Team. Each song was soul-lifting as participants sang with all their hearts in praises and worship to God Almighty at the conference. The Worship and Hymn sessions usually opened each segment of the programme, setting the stage for a refreshing moment in the Presence of the Lord.
The Messages preached during the conference were heart-warming and compelling with each Minister uniquely revealing the mind of God to the congregation. During some of the messages, participants were drawn to the altar to either surrender, rededicate their lives to the Lord or reaffirm their devotion to Him. The Messages were indeed a blessing to the conference.
The Vision Challenge session had a Missionary who shared with the conference on the process of discovering God’s vision. He outlined certain helpful steps while sharing his testimony of his call into Missions. The session was indeed challenging as a number of participants responded to the call for clarity of their lives’ visions.
During the various Prayer Challenge sessions, participants were charged to seek God diligently during the conference in order to ensure that their attendance to the conference wouldn’t be in vain. This session drove the congregation to the place of prayer as they sought God’s help for their lives in every area.
The Marriage and Relationship Seminar was held in three different groups – the married, the youths and the singles (who are prepared to be married). Each session had a Resource Person who facilitated the group’s discussion. Each group was properly engaged by the Facilitators with question and answer sessions, helping participants gain clarity about some pressing issues. The teens and children also had their sessions with their respective teachers.
The Night of Change is the culminating session of the World Agents of Change Conference. The 2025 edition was no different at all. The vigil indeed had an aura of God’s glory at every session. There were various hymns and worship sessions; messages and prayer sessions that kept the congregation awake and fully ready to face the future. At the end of the vigil, participants left the conference excited and elated that God had indeed visited them.
