The Secret Place

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty – Psalm 91:1

O! What great joy awaits us in the secret place of the Most High God. This is the place of God’s presence, when we enter into His presence; we come under the shadow of the Almighty Himself.

Such great honor and privilege we have in Christ that we can access God’s presence at any time. We actually can and are encouraged to dwell, settle, Live, or reside in this secret place.

To dwell in God’s secret place is to cultivate an atmosphere that is conducive for God’s presence through a life of Holiness, Praise and Prayers.

If we can maintain this sort of atmosphere which attracts God’s presence, we will continually be assured of His presence.

God’s desire is actually to live in and through us His Children, hence we are reminded in 1 Corinthians 6:1 that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us and was given to us by God.

So, when we invest time with God in the place of Prayer, it is indeed a worthy investment, as this affords us an opportunity to be sharpened by God and to grow in our relationship with Him. 

We will definitely thrive and flourish, if we make God’s presence our dwelling place.

Father help me to dwell in your secret place. Grant me O lord, that my life will be pleasing unto you at all times in Jesus name.
