The Day of God’s Power

Your people shall be volunteers in the day of your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth – Psalm 110:3

Hallelujah! The day of God’s power is here! In fact, following the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, in the second chapter of the book of Acts, Peter speaking said “but this is [the beginning of] what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall be in the last days‘, says God, ‘that I will pour out my Spirit upon all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see [divinely prompted] visions, and your old men shall dream [divinely prompted] dreams;”. We are now in the final part of the last days; we are indeed in the day of God’s power. Praise God!

In spite of the enormous amount of power (human generated power) or energy that is produced daily from different parts of the world, there is still an inadequate supply of it in many parts of the world. But the opposite is the case when it comes to divine power or God’s power, there is an unlimited supply of God’s power, the only challenge is that there is a short supply of men and women who are ready to tap into it. Even for those who seem to have received this power, many still have not utilized it to its maximum capacity. There is so much power in God but few men and women available to receive and release it to their generation.

Without an iota of doubt, the world is in dire need of the manifestation of this power today. We know this by the challenges that confront us each passing day. Our world is at the brink of destruction, but for God’s mercy. Plagued with rising cases of terrorism, wars, famine, human and drug trafficking, natural disasters, deadly and incurable diseases, and sexual pervasion; creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). The devil will keep having a field day if the children of God fail to arise and manifest His power.

Our world seeks an answer to the daily unpleasant occurrences, and we are that answer the world is waiting for. There is an immeasurable power available in God as He is the All-powerful One – “God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God” – Psalm 62:11. But it is one thing to have this power available in God, and another to have men and women who are available to receive and release it to their world. We must make ourselves available through intense repentance, brokenness, prayer and seeking of His face in order to become channels of this immense power.

Our world seeks an answer to the daily unpleasant occurrences, and we are that answer the world is waiting for.

Satan has long held territories and lives in bondage; we need this power to seize back such territories and lives from the hand of the enemy. He can no longer hold sway because it is the day of God’s power when God’s people will be willing to go all out and take on the adversary. And carriers of this power must be arrayed in holy garment or holy armour because that is a key requirement. Are you willing? Are you ready? Be blessed!
